NEW DELHI: As promised Taiwanese manufacturer Smartphone HTC has begun the deployment of Oreo Android update for its Smartphone HTC 10. It is an OTA update and was first marked by Android Police. The update Android 8.0 3.16.617.2 version brings along Oreo with the latest security patches of Android HTC 10. With the update, the smartphone gets all the android 8.0 Has Oreo as Picture in Picture (PiP) mode, Instant apps, quick menu, smart auto-filling, the predictive text input and other.
The update weighs 1.8 GB in size and it is recommended to keep the smartphone fully charged before to update the device.
The company has launched the HTC in April 2016. The smartphone is come with Android 6.0 of the operating system of the marshmallow of the box. Last year, the company has deployed the update Android 7.1 for the smartphone of nougat which weighs 1.21GB.
The HTC 10 is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and has a 5.2-inch super QHD LCD display with 1440x2560 pixels. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top. Benefiting from a unibody design metal, the HTC 10 supports the connectivity 4G and is delivered with the HTC BoomSound improved speakers. There is a battery 3000mAh and a USB port of type-C port, as well, with a scanner of fingerprints.

HTC 10 is not the first smartphone of the company to obtain Android update Oreo. Last year, the company has deployed for his update Android Oreo lighthouse of the year last HTC smartphone U11.
